Commercial Solar Power (PV)
The incentives for commercial Solar Electric have never been better.
Contact us to see how Incentive programs can cover
the entire cost of your solar installation. Right now there are two
programs which can significantly reduce the project cost of installing
solar electric and solar hot water. Both incentive paths use the Federal
tax credit for renewable energy which covers 30% of the system cost.
Our
solar electric pricing starts at $6.00 per installed watt and can be reduced
significantly for larger systems. For an accurate estimate of your solar
Project please contact us.
Incentive Path - Oregon Energy Trust
The path that uses the Energy Trust of Oregon in combination with the State of Oregon tax credits reduces the up front cost of installing solar but the long term payout is less. You can click Here to estimate the amount of incentives and energy production for your project.

Incentive Path - Oregon Feed in Tariff
The Oregon solar Feed in Tariff is a new pilot program put in effect to boost interest in renewable energy by allowing a business to make a profit when they install solar electric systems in Oregon. The incentive program guarantees a set price for each KWH produced for the next 15 years. Currently the rate is set at $.65 per KWH for systems under 10KW and $.55 per KWH for most systems over 10KW. Listed below are some examples of what's possible:
| Example of 10kw System | Example of 100kw System | |||
| Installed cost | $50,000 | Installed cost | $500,000 | |
| Federal Tax Grant | -$15,000 | Federal Tax Grant | -$150,000 | |
| Net Project Cost | $35,000 | Net Project Cost | $350,000 | |
| 15 year value of energy | $97,500 | 15 year value of energy | $825,000 | |
The program will go in to effect July 1, 2010. To get more information about the Oregon Feed in Tariff try these links:
Change is in the Wind
Wind project owners in Oregon benefit from incentives that will cover the
whole project cost, exposure to your business, a land mark that can be seen
from miles away, and a great wind resource. The incentives for wind in
Oregon come from three sources. The energy trust of Oregon incentives
vary by model but all of them can be found at the
Energy Trust of Oregon's website.
The State of Oregon
Business Energy Tax credit will cover 50% of the project cost and can even
be
passed through to a partner if your business doesn't have the tax apatite
for a large project.
